About Peter Delnov

Peter Delnov was born in Yekaterinburg. He graduated from the Special Music School at the Mussorgsky Ural State Conservatory. During his studies Peter was the winner of several youth competitions. After completing studies in Special Music School he entered Gnessins Russian Academy of Music, where he studied in the class of the Bolshoi Theatre orchestra soloist, professor I. Boguslavsky. Peter participated in Isaac Stern master classes in Israel. In 1997 he became an artist in the Chamber orchestra “Kremlin” (director and conductor — Misha Rakhlevsky), giving concert in many countries of three continents — Europe, North and South America (among them — Italy, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Spain, Austria, Norway, USA, Canada, Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador). Working in the orchestra Peter often gave concerts as a soloist, both ith piano and orchestra. In 2009, he became a soloist in the Moscow Symphony Orchestra “Russian Philharmonic”, where he works today. The repertoire of P. Delnov includes numerous works for solo viola (concertos of Stamitz, Bartok, Walton, Hindemith, sonatas of Bach, Glinka, Schubert, Brahms, Hindemith, works of Schumann, Bruch, Enescu), string and piano chamber ensembles by Handel, Mozart, Brahms, Martinu, Chausson and others.
